CA Satyendra K. Jha

CA Satyendra K. Jha is the Founding Partner of S.K. Jha & Co., which he established in Ahmedabad in 1996. He holds a B.Com degree, is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA), holds a Diploma in Business Management (DIBM) from the Ahmedabad Management Association, and is a certified Information Systems Auditor (DISA) of ICAI. Over a career of more than 30 years, he has built an established professional practice that operates at the intersection of finance, taxation, law and commercial strategy.

His practice focuses on matters of complexity and commercial weight: a business group restructuring its ownership, a promoter family planning a generational transition, a foreign enterprise entering India whose investment structure must hold up under FEMA, tax and corporate law at once, a tax dispute before the appellate tribunal, or a project finance transaction that calls for integrated thinking across banking law, corporate law and taxation.

His clients include listed companies and large SMEs requiring strategic financial architecture, family-managed businesses addressing ownership and succession questions, HNIs with estate planning and wealth structuring needs, and multinational enterprises establishing or reorganising their India presence. In each, his role is that of a senior advisor who understands the full commercial consequence of every structural decision.

He has contributed actively to the profession, serving in leadership roles at the Ahmedabad Branch of WIRC of ICAI across different tenures, including as Secretary of the Branch, Chairman of the Professional Development Committee, and Chairman of WICASA.
